JUNIOR TRAINING CAMP

Brisbane International Shooting Centre
4th – 9th July 2024

QTS are extending an open invitation to Junior participants of the Rifle disciplines. This camp will focus on 10m Air Rifle as an entry-level discipline for the Rifle Pathway.
This training camp is planned and curated to be a holistic approach to learning in a supportive environment. Schedules and expected learnings
include:

• 10m Air Rifle training, catered to the individuals skill-level.
• 50m 3 Position & Prone practice (50m practice will be available to those who already compete in these disciplines).
• Education on Anti-Doping and ISSF Competition Rules.
• Travel practice and support.
• Team environments.
• Practice competitions.
• Introduction to High Performance Habits.

It is also a great place to meet your peers and like-minded people.

COST AND LOGISTICS

This training camp is self-funded. If you need financial aid to participate in this camp, try approaching your State Association, Club or local council for grants.

Dates: 4th – 9th of July 2024
Accommodation: QRA Accommodation (At BISC). $125 total ($25 per night).
Food: Catered by QTS Volunteer Annie. Please make sure to bring money for dinner at the airport on the way home and a meal at a restaurant. Otherwise it is a flat rate of $120 for meals over the duration of the camp.
Flights (For South Australian Juniors):
4/7/2024 – QF1934: Departing ADL @ 7.40am (arriving in BNE @ 10.15am)
9/7/2024 – QF1937: Departing BNE @ 4.35pm (arriving in ADL @ 7.00pm)

• Juniors that aren’t traveling from SA or QLD please book your flights to arrive into BNE on or before SA’s arrival time. This will ease transport from the Airport to the range.
• Flights must be booked an paid for by the individual. Please note the price is subject to increases as the date gets closer.
